Starlight Wedding Registry Announce the Cheapest and Most Expensive Online Cash Registries

Following on from an analysis into which department store wedding registry provided the best service to brides and grooms, Starlight Registry have turned inward to their own market to identify which online cash wedding registries are the least and most expensive.

The study calculated and compared what percent of a couple’s total gift money would be retained by each of the seven most popular online cash wedding registries – OurWishingWell.com, UponOurStar.com, MyRegistry.com, GoGift.com,

DepositaGift.com, AGreatAffair.com, and StarlightRegistry.com. The analysis concluded that OurWishingWell.com was the most expensive of the registries taking on average 8.80% of the total cash submitted by wedding guests. StarlightRegistry.com was the cheapest option, taking on average only 5.59% of the total cash submitted by guests.

The findings indicate that a couple can save a tremendous amount of money by carefully picking the right online cash registry. For an average wedding, a couple would save as much as $ 222.68 by choosing to host their cash wedding registry on Starlight Registry opposed to Our Wishing Well. With the popularity of online wedding registries increasing, it is important for brides and grooms to be well informed of who is offering the best services and what the real benefits are compared to traditional department store registries.
