According to the Axa Big Money Report, spending habits of Brits have changed over the last few years with the downturned economy affecting both the rich and the poor. The large survey looked at various aspects of Brits spending and living habits and found that 44 percent are cutting back on presents, 41 percent of participants are cutting back on food spending and 24 percent are cutting back on oil, gas and electricity.
The findings come in light of reports of a weak pound and news of a potential triple dip recession.
