Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics have found that more men are working well past the national pension age. Figures show that 12.2 percent of men in the pension age group are carrying out jobs past 65 years of age and working in senior type roles such as directors and managers. Overall figures, including both men and women found that two thirds of those at pension age were working.
